Well all, the camera is out of commission for a while until we get a new rechargable batter pack....so no new pics...

My poor Rufus the 55 lb Dufus puppy had four grand mal seizures today! We'll have to wait and see what the blood work reveals.... :( Here is a picture of him in happier times.....

I knew this day would finally come.....

*sigh* I knew the day would finally come when one of my wonderful children would emulate a bad habit of one of their parents. Which one of us was mimicked, remains to be seen, but I would probably put my money on me. Yes, everyone.....Aidan said the "F" word. The dog was trying to eat some cereal from Aidan's bowl, so he chased the dog into the dining room and said "F'n dog".

Groan....

Then to top it off, when I put Ethan to bed for a nap after the kid's baths, I heard a loud thump. I thought it was him just deep-sixing his giant, great grandma made alligator so he could sleep in peace. Oh NO! After I finished reading Aidan his book and was closing his door, I was suddenly surprised by the OPENING of Ethan's door. Standing there was a guilty faced tiny smudge who had climbed out of his crib for the first time, with a slight red bump war wound on his cheek as evidence.

And was so naive as to think my day off would be uneventful....

Torrential Rain!

Looks like it was a good thing Jeremy and I reworked the flagstone on the culvert this fall. Seems to be holding up well to all of this heavy rain!
